Phantom Console
Whats really going on with this thing. Its apparently being produced by Infinium Labs and its going to be an all Broadband console. So is it the real deal or does the name Phantom mean more than just the name?
Apparently over in North America they're ready for beta testers to try out the console and stuff. Now i have to admit, first time i saw this announcement, i thought coool, thatd be great if its true, but i seriously doubt it is. And i'm still sceptical.
But yet another development has occured, they have also sent emails sent to anyone who is anyone in the game producing world asking for the rights to sell (or maybe buy) all their games.
The email goes into (in great depth) the nature of the console, and how the download-only nature of the beast allows publishers to get a wider variety of games to consumers at almost no cost.
The only other thing i can say at this time, is , if this is a hoax, they've certainly gone to a hell of a lot of trouble. We'll keep you posted
