Game Spoilers
Now I dont know about you, but i only very occassionally buy games on release, only very special things such as a Zelda release, special offer for Metroid Prime, or the Shenmue Series do i do this. But this isnt really my point.
My point is, as you may have guessed from the title, Game Spoilers. When you dont get a game straight away, and friends and so forth have it, how difficult is it to avoid all spoilers and keep completely unaware of plot, and fun parts, and keep the mystery of the game. I mean often now we're so bombarded with everything, its hard enough to do this anyway. I mean take that book that was just released, i'm sure you all know which one.
I mean things have gotten so bad with this series, media, everything and everyone i know going on about it, I have just decided to boycott the whole series, however good the books are supposed to be. I've just had enough of it. There was all this hype and hysteria, 3 years behind this one, and being me, and the fact i hadnt read any of the others, I wasnt gonna get it straight away, not for a while. But without even trying to, I already know half the things that happen, completely ruining it if i ever intended to purchase it later on.
And its the same with games. I now frequent places where theres a lot of people importing too, which i admittedly would do if i could afford, but back on topic. This basically means its even harder to avoid spoilers to such things, as theres so many topics, or casual mentionings of events from these games, even before they have been released over here!
To be honest I'm not sure i have a real point here, but its incredibly frustrating all the same, and seems increasingly difficult to keep that wonder and mystique in an item...
