Shenmue 3
Rumours have begun about this game, well, they've been around for a long time, but they've seriously started to gather pace now.
Yu Suzuki, the mastermind behind the series has confirmed that the story for Shenmue 3, is in place, they are just 'waiting to see if there would be demand for the game'. Its obvious there would be, Shenmue 2 on the dreamcast was one of the most imported, if not the most imported game of all time. I myself have both the dreamcast games, and the xbox version of shenmue 2 as well.
It also seems they have begun redesigning www.shenmue.com , which would seem kinda pointless unless a new game or something new was happening fairly soon.
Various Shenmue fansites have been trying to get the inside scoop on the game for a while, with various theories and ideas concerning the direction of the series, but none seemed worthy of a follow up until now. I for one can't wait till this new game is released, as lets face it, they have to!
http://shop.game.net/ViewProduct.aspx?cat=8&mid=321053 have the game available for preorder already, which seems to be getting a bit ahead of themselves, as barely any information concerning the game has been officially released, and they have no platform developer or publisher down. Which seems kinda dumb to be honest..
